I have had a BodyBugg arm band for a couple of years and I love it. It tracks calories burned, steps taken, and when you use the website, you can track your caloric intake (all numbers for a nutrition geek like me). I’ve used it for about a year solid and then I would go on and off a few months at a time. I currently pay about $6.95/mo. for a subscription but was about to cancel it again.
I got a notice that the makers are switching to a new program and I’m going to get new firmwear for my device (crossing my fingers that it takes). The new program/software will also track my sleep efficiency! The website and food apps look a lot more user-friendly too. I’m sure the FitBit made BodyMedia revamp their arm bands.
The changeover should happen soon. I’m hoping this will help me re-focus on making my daily steps and fitness goals. I’m going to see if I can download the new software tonight.
(Sample screenshot are not my stats but came from the promo email I just received.)
