See, I’m back to tracking on WW Online! Gold star to me!
What you don’t see is the 2 points I earned for doing 45 minutes of yoga. I needed a good yoga session to keep the calves nice and limber for running. I am not risking another calf tear with all of the running.
I’m also trying to figure out my new training schedule for the next few months. I need to run 3x per week, play soccer once per week, do yoga twice per week, and lift weights 2x per week. Right now I see a workout schedule like this:
Sunday: soccer (is it funny that I don’t actually think of this as a workout?)
Monday: weights (Chalene Extreme or Jillian 30 Day Shred) + 30 minutes of yoga
Wednesday: weights (Chalene Extreme or Jillian 30 Day Shred) or 30 minutes of yoga (while boyfriend runs on the treadmill)
Saturday: long run at gym
When I get to running over 2 hours for my long run, I will swap my Fridays and Saturdays (meaning long run on Friday and rest on Saturday). I only have child care at the gym on Saturdays for 2 hours so I will max out soon in my quest to train for the marathon. Friday nights running on the treadmill sounds like a whole barrel of fun but it is my only option until my daughter learns to ride for miles on her bicycle with training wheels. I’m not very hopeful of that. I’m going to look for some music concert DVDs like Coldplay or Glastonbury to watch and listen to when I run.
